machines Injection-the speed and pressure

Everything you need to know about the machines Injection (injection molding) – the speed and pressure

Injection Speed (injection molding) and pressure as well as pack-hold pressure of the entries is important to know to get product with high quality and without problems. All of these entries depends on the type of plastic material used.

Some raw materials such as semi-crystalline need for speed in Injection (injection molding) and high-pressure to convert it to the final product.
As for the low-speed if you want the final product to be a shining surface.

The following table shows the types of plastic, pressure, and the required speed and the proportion of contraction (important) and other properties.

recycling

One Of ways of dealing with the plastic is recycled to use it again in different products.

Here is a quick summary pictures of the process of recycling.

1.the plastic is cracking various sizes

2.convert the plastic section to another step which is cut into small volumes grinding

3.After that washing stage densifying

4.then to the stage shredding

5.Then mixing stage and paint if necessary

6.And then extruding granulation phase

This is a summary of the scientific pictures recycling

Plastics Identification

It is important for plastic manufacturers to know types used by the competitor in order to try to find ways to win the market. Here i will explain by using a chart and by cancelling the elements from the table to reach the type of plastic.

But there are alerts and instructions must be introduced to facilitate the process.

First:
To determine the origin of material (thermoplastic or thermosets), by placing a hot solder with 260°C near to the sample you want to know if the sample became soft will be “thermoplastic” and if did not change will be “thermoset”.

Second:
Useing flame bunsen preferably its does not have color, or a match if does not have Benzene.
And pay attention to the results we are looking for and to be ready, write down the following observations:
1. Is the substance burns?
2. What is the color of the flame.
3. Does it smell and what kind?
4. Is the substance dripping through the process of ignition?
5. What is color output smoke ?
6. Do it go out on their own or continue to rule in the ignition?
7. Do it burn material quickly or slowly?
8. Is flying spray with ignition or not?

Now to see what kind of material, compare your results with feedback collected in the table below.
Of course, to be able to get close correct results in the table requires training on substance known to you and practice.

You should be careful during the process of trial or test samples of the seriousness of some steps and pay attention to your safety first. For example, drops the plastic material can be a very hot and can cause burning of the body and maybe glue. As well as attention to some steps require smelling smoke to see this type of material and dangerous stage, because some materials contain compounds that release toxic gases such as formaldehyde.

Making Bubble film

bubble film is thick plastic foil (sheet) with high flexibility, contain many small air bubbles, are used in the mitigation of shocks during shipping. Bubbles average diameter  is 6.0 – 25.4 mm and height 4 mm.

Bubbles films lightweight, water resistant and used for packaging fragile breakable materials.

Bubble film made of low density polyethylene “LDPE”, using a machine similar to a cast film where the fusion of polyethylene in the helix extruder. He graduated from the molten material in the form of couple chips (ie 2 Chit).

The first sheet passes on a disc with many holes through which the Suction process  of the surface of the sheet into the holes, in order to configure (bubbles) air bubbles. While the second sheet is pasted (to welding) immediately after the first sheet  to hold the air inside the bubble to produce a sheet with single air bubbles.

Of the benefits of air bubbles:
• Light weight
• reduce the cost of shipping and packaging
• Resistance to moisture
• Protect the surface of the product shipped from scratching

homogeneity of polymers Compatibilizers

Some polymers when mixed with other to get material with strong specifications, we do not succeed in obtaining the required material and the reason is the lack of homogeneity between these polymers and thus we are in need of material help to facilitate the process of harmonization of these polymers.
These Assistant materials are called compatibilizers. Where they help to homogeneity of the various materials which do not homogeneity directly.

compatibilizers not a one type and depend on the polymers that wish to be homogeneity among them.

Below example of some compatibilizers.
In the example “polymer 1″ and “polymer 2″ to obtain homogeneity among them are advised to compatibilizers in the third column.
